Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) is sponsoring the third annual Free Trade and Special Economic Zone Summit to be held from 13 to 14 September in China, according to a statement.

The event is expected to gather over 300 senior executives from China's most influential enterprises, as well as representatives from global free zone and economic zone authorities.

"60% of China's export to the Middle East goes through the UAE according to Thomson Reuters," Ramy Jallad, group CEO of RAKEZ and RAK Free Trade Zone and RAK Investment Authority, stated.

“Today, more than 160 Chinese companies have chosen RAKEZ as a base to work, live, and play from Ras Al Khaimah," Jallad noted.
